After your comprehensive consultation, your patient care co-ordinator will work with you to book a convenient date for your procedure.

Pre Op Assessment
Prior to your procedure date, you will have your pre-op assessment where we will go through your medical history with you, and instruct you how to prepare for your procedure day to avoid any risks.
Step 4.
Procedure Day
On your procedure day, you’ll have a dedicated medical team to take care of you. The procedure duration is 15 minutes, and you will leave the hospital on same day.

After Care

The balloon, tucked inside a capsule, is swallowed and filled with water during a brief 15-minute doctor’s visit. Approximately 4 months later, it self-empties and passes out naturally.
The Allurion Balloon takes up space in your stomach, reducing your appetite and helping you to feel full faster and for longer.

There are some specific dietary recommendations before placement and during the first week as you adapt to the balloon.
